The province announced the $1-million Small Business ACCESS-Ability GRANT Program today to help Nova Scotia small businesses be more accessible.
The program supports the Accessibility Act, passed in April, with goals to make Nova Scotia accessible in six areas by 2030. Funds are available for communication, such as accessible signs, public transportation, education and training, devices for disabled employees and customers, and eligible renovations.
