Robbie Burns Night & Ceilidh - Saturday 4th February 2023

Digby & Area Board of Trade is proud to partner with the Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa in presenting a dinner and night of Scottish celebration for the national Poet of Scotland, Robbie Burns on Saturday, February 04-2023. The event, a fund-raiser for the Digby General Hospital Auxiliary and Fundy Hospice, will take place at Digby Hall. More than 200 years after his death (born 25 Jan. 1759) Burns’ legacy lives on and Robbie Burns Day (January 25) remains more celebrated worldwide than Scotland’s own national holiday, St. Andrew's Day.

The Pines is offering a special accommodation rate for dinner guests. (See below)


What is Robbie Burns:
More than 200 years after his death (born 25 Jan. 1759), Robert Burns' legacy lives on. Celebrated each January 25, Robbie Burns Day may speak to the spread of Scottish culture more than any other event; it's more celebrated worldwide than Scotland's own national holiday, St. Andrew's Day.
Burns is regarded as the National Poet of Scotland.


Start Time:
Event begins with Reception at 5:30pm
Dinner & Silent Auction begins at 6:30pm

Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa, DIGBY HALL

The event includes:
  • Traditional 3-course Scottish dinner including the Haggis!
  • Entertainment by Celtic Vibes
  • Silent Auction
  • Guest Speaker: The Hon. Jill Balser MLA for Digby-Annapolis
A Whiskey Tasting is available at an additional price and there is a Cash Bar.
